Boar Cushion in blue
£75.00
My Boar design is inspired by the Pictish heritage of the north-eastern Highlands, and the ‘Boar Stone’ held at Portmahomack on the Tarbat Peninsula. This relic is thought to be a fragment of an 8th Century stone sarcophagus lid, whose zoological subject I have reimagined in a scene roaming through an apple grove.
I proudly hand craft these cushions from start to finish in my studio in the Scottish Lowlands. Each is individually screen-printed onto a beautifully textured off-white shade of linen union in a specially mixed Wedgwood blue. They are stitched with a coordinating plain fabric on the reverse and a zip fastening, and come complete with a plump feather inner.
Size: 12″ x 24″ / 30cm x 60cm
Please note that due to the handmade nature of this product, pattern placement on the cushion you receive may vary from that illustrated. Please also expect possible variations in print finish and colour between batches.
