Coed y Bleiddiau
Snowdonia
Meaning ‘Wood of the Wolves’ in Welsh, the name of this humble railway cottage perched high on the Ffestiniog Railway echoes the legend that the last wolves in Wales lived on the surrounding hillsides. This romantic concept provided the inspiration for a design evoking the story of the building’s setting, creating a pattern which sits comfortably in its wild untamed landscape.
